Your Desire Isn't A Pipe Dream
As a seamstress whenever I have something in mind I want to make I always have the garments end envisioned. I always begin at the end. I have a perfect vision of a garment in my head and work backwards to form the individual pieces. Each part is designed masterfully to work towards the perfect final vision.
God started at the end too. He had a vision for a perfect earth which would be inhabited with those who are righteous for eternity. He then worked backwards from there. He deconstructed the future, present, and past of our world and expertly stitched it together from the beginning to work towards his ultimate goal.
YOU are apart of his ultimate goal. YOU are a beloved piece of the puzzle. He wanted YOU to be apart of the coming attraction of eternity. YOU! Don’t think for a second you aren’t noticed and loved by the Father who created you specifically and carefully for A reason.
You were created to contribute to God’s ultimate vision by carrying out your purpose. If you’re having trouble finding your purpose, look toward the desires of your heart and use that desire to draw others to Jesus. I’m so grateful that God creates us with the desire to do what he purposes us for. Wait, do you get that? He designed desire and purpose so expertly that what our hearts long for...we were made for. Wow God!
Your desire isn’t a pipe dream and your purpose is not as far off as you think. The Master artfully designed you and gave you everything you need in the beginning for what he dreamed up for you in the end.
Psalm 139:13 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
